2018 Shell Eco Marathon

April 2018

CVRT competed in the Shell Eco Marathon, which was held in Sonoma, California. NFA CVRT ended up coming in 7th place out of 98 teams from North, Central and South America

2017 Drivers' World Championship

May 28, 2017

On May 28, 2017 the NFA CVRT came in 7th place in the Drivers World Championship Finale that took place in London, England at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium. There were only 9 teams that qualified for this final event out of 400+ teams from the entire world who were competing for the title of "the world's fastest and most efficient driver". It was an absolute honor and great learning experience to compete against such prestigious teams from high schools and universities all over the world.

2017 Shell Eco-Marathon

April 2017

CVRT competed in the Shell Eco Marathon Drivers World Championship of the Americas, which was held in Detroit, Michigan at the end of April 2017. NFA CVRT was one of only 3 teams selected from the 114 teams from North, Central and South Americas who participated in Detroit.

2016 Drivers' World Championship

July 3rd, 2016

Students from the CVRT traveled to London England to compete in the Drivers' World Championship. Out of the 400 teams from across the globe that were able to qualify, NFA CVRT came in 16th place!

2016 Shell Eco-Marathon

April 24, 2016

The CVRT ended up coming in 2nd place in the 2016 Shell Eco-marathon of the Americas competition on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 in Detroit, Michigan. The NFA CVRT was one of only 6 teams selected from the 124 competitors to participate in the Drivers’ World Championship by beating such prestigious schools as Duke University, Rice University and Wright State University.
